Lord of Leisure

Well as promised after an absence of more than 13 days, I have returned from the social and economic wilderness known to those people as life. Again a fair amount has been happening over the last 13 days so I will condense down into the headlines so far, and then elaborate further for your dining and dancing pleasure:

• Work: Too MUCH!! It never ends, and slowly but surely tis wearing me down. Yarr tis a beast of a job to be sure.
  To aid in recovery from said occupation, I will be taking time off soon, even for a week in November and a long weekend in December. Proper Bo as they say.
• Seen Lovely Natalie quite a lot, pushing college work out the window in the process. Given the choice of work or the company of a woman, what would you pick? Yes I went back to the Network Concepts assignment… 🙂 Still a gray area here in terms of the future, but I think we will carry on some form even when she goes back. Oh dear, could it be that serious?
• Have been updating the wardrobe (has a nice wooden door on it now)
• No wait scrap the above, I mean, the stuff I wear, as it came to my attention that I stuff so much crap down my trousers (as if there wasn’t enough,
  Cue drum role) that my hips are almost a meter in length. Spent far too much again, and I will suffer in the long term.
• Speaking of money I am on limited supply owing to the Car TAX, MOT and Service Coming up, along with of course clearing the debts of olde, Hell Even will have Paid off the laptop now at the end of October. TIS MINE All MINE!! BWAHAHAHA! The trip to London is this Friday and next week sees the grand weekend to Liverfool of which I anticipate I will be staring at people on one of those Oxfam adverts asking for just £2 a month, and I send them a blog entry along with some dirt from the back garden.
• Pi**ed off my good friend Tom, of which it is a boring soap opera story and therefore can’t be arsed writing. Suffice it to say twas entirely my fault.
• Went out in Telford for a couple of Thursdays after college (only up the road so can’t be bad) Was stone cold sober all the way through, WAAAAA! Why god do you punish me so?
• Made 178 remarks about how attractive some women were and the nasty things I wanted to do to them.
• Remarkable fact of zero beatings for said comments
• Now expects beatings as result of saying had no beatings.
• Have 3 assignments from College to do, if anyone can be bothered to write the systems analysis one for me, that would be great!!
• Drank a couple of gallons of chocolate milkshake
• Only been to the gym twice. FAT prevails!
• Finally cut my toenails with scissors rather than chewing them.
• Made the above comment up to shock people and provide a laugh to three people who would have found it funny
• Lost that piece of paper with the glasses I wanted to get with after trying them on at Specsavers. Tried some on today in Telford at lunch time and got those instead, paying a fortune in the process. They are Hugo boss one’s though, and now I look slightly less like a prat than normal.
• Got invited to a house party by a barmaid, Sam who works in the Weatherspoons in Telford. In case anyone is wondering she is attractive and you would. Alas my busy schedule may not allow for turning up.
• Met up with Chris Wood during the day last Saturday to watch the grudge 2, which was Bo**ocks. Had a better time chatting in Frankie and Benny’s afterwards in which all metaphysical rights were put to. That and he informed of news which is of cause for celebration, champagne, caviar the full works. Well the full works on toast at least, maybe with some jam.
• Got proof that more than two people read the blog, as Lesley emailed me!! WOW, the system works! Well as you read this before Lesley, I hope at least this blog is not a complete waste of your time, and I suppose it’s knackered emailing to a certain extent as I put everything down here what I do feel and say. But all in all, fantastic to hear from you again, and I look forward to catching up.
• Glyn has said that New’s Years in manchester in definitely going ahead now.
• No-one else has sorted out new year’s eve yet.
• Guess what I am going to do then?
• That’s right, I do some ironing and whistle down the chimneys. Anyone who would have got that random answer, needs help.

That’s the headlines condensed into nice little points there. Other things I am going to remark on; Touchwood broadcast last night on BBC 3, the new
spin off from Doctor Who. And I must confess, although the idea of a sex mad alien who feeds off orgasmic energy makes me smile (including the kissing scene with Gwen :)and is my idea of a show, at the moment I think it’s going to be a grower as It’s slick, moves very fast paced, but doesn’t seem to be right. Maybe it’s just me getting used to that level of swearing and violence in the Doctor Who universe. I think the doctor would be very much out of place in Torchwood, but it would need him at one point methinks.

The podcast ideas and script is in production along with trying to get the right background music, of which is a nightmare due to copyright laws, and at it stands the first one is going to be the best of the blog with one or two new segments thrown in for a bit of fun. A decent mic is also on the agenda of things to do, but as it stands with all that is going on atm, it is very hard to find time for all this. Hell this blog, which I do pride myself on keeping up to date has suffered a bit in recent times. Hopefully in my time off, I can get some more work done on this here thingy, and perhaps finalise the podcast ready for production. Who knows?

Alfie, in case there are those of you are don’t know who he was a massive womaniser, who had to face consequences of his actions, question himself and in the end was rejected (for a younger man as it turned out!), Played by Both Micheal Caine and Jude Law, first film was surprisingly good. Anyway why it is relevant?

I was speaking to Ruth on friday afternoon, but kept getting interupted at work and by her washing. During said conversation of catching up, she asked why I am not back together with Sian (that seems to keep coming up in conversations), and am I just shagging around with lots of other girls? I never got the chance to explain as she was unavalible by phone again, so i have posted here, though the ironic thing is, she can’t read this blog as she says it’s blocked. LOL! Oh the things I could write and she’d never know!! BWAHAHAHA! (Sian, by all means explain to her! LMAO!)

And btw, I have only mentioned Ruth once or twice on this blog, far less than others and each time in a negative light, due to earlier incidents. But to address the blance here, I will write an ever so brief bio. She is an intellgent, beautiful, and frankly strange woman, who is currently studing Law up in Sheffield. Notoriously hard to get a hold of, why I don’t know, if you try and keep in contact with people you expect to get hold of them once in a while? She currently plays a “special guest star” role in my life, kind of like she adds to the show when she is there but you get used to the fact she isn’t around. But when all is said and done, she is “interesting” to say the least. And that statement is fully intended in a good way, I assure you all.

Right then, the truth of the matter is, that, yes in the beginning that is exactly what I was doing, albeit not shagging but seeing a few ladies at once (and tried once for Sara’s sister, but it appears that I frightened her simply because she wasn’t used to men approaching her, and she didn’t know how to react. Partly because her past which is a great shame) which of course was out of spite, but it quickly got narrowed down to one, Natalie, who is wonderful, insightful and bizarre at the same time and in the end, it has led to something I didn’t expect, and I am happy.

The hardest part of this is that she goes back to Lithuania at the end of the year, and being honest I have no idea what I would do then. In this life, all things are possible. And yet, not. Who knows what will happen?

Onto other things now, and well I haven’t kept a massive record in the blog for the past week or so, it’s just been a lack of time on my part really, coupled with the fact that I have been a bit lazy (no surprise there then) therefore the last couple of updates haven’t really served a purpose apart from just keeping the blog alive. I do wonder though who reads it if anyone does in fact. Ah, in any case, it serves as a diary for me and an outlet, so who cares?!?!

Over the past few weeks, a lot has happened on a couple of fronts. I have got a few outings sorted out, namely a trip to London again, and The Divine Comedy at the Carling academy in Liverfool (yes I am a glutten for punishment, but of course I have backup again :). I have been wondering how to spend what little holiday time I have left for this year, not much really but a week in November off being a lord of leisure again sounds very good atm. I just wonder, how much sleep do i have to catch up with after all this time?

Friday was a long day again. This time having finished work at around 7:30, I proceeded to Cheshire Oaks, there to meet with my brothers in arms, Dave and Chris. Together we battled the hordes of chavy people to reach the prize we so coveted: Cinema Tickets to see “the Departed”. Yes I know, had to build it up somehow! Dave also brought me joy in the form of a Executive Ballscratcher and 20 Questions toy!! YAHOO, I have something to scratch my bollocks with, though I suppose I didn’t need it before 😉

Saturday was a day catching up with some sleep, but not much, and also (yes I know, people will get sick of me mentioning her) saw Natalie, who tried her best to sort me with some fashion stuff on Sunday at Cheshire Oaks. Got some really nice footwear from Sketchers, some jeans and a shirt, but spent just under 100 quid in the process. Eep.

Aunty Bett has been under the weather with some type of flu that has been doing the rounds atm. Doctors gave her some pills and said she has to stay indoors for a few days. Tis a concern to say the least.

I have an assignment for Uni to do, designing a new network system with servers and desktop, including the wiring for the office in question. In theory I should pass easily, as strange as it seems to be, it is part of my job! Damn dood! Haven’t been given the Systems one yet, but it will be dull, pointless and rob me of hours of my life that I will never get back. Those filthy bastards!

Glyn: The time is coming when the prophecy will come true and your skills in battle will be required. I know I haven’t had the assignment yet, but I am wondering about CSS style sheets. May even try to tart this blog up even more with your assitance of course. Hope everyone is well up there mate. Will phone you soon.
Chris and Dave: Cheers for friday fellas, always good to see you both. Our chats are enlighting always to say the least. Though I keep taking the floor, of which I aplogise. And I must say Dave, if Tom and all them hate me because of one new years eve night where the idea is to have fun (Um, can’t really remember what happened aside from the photos), well what can I say? Whoops? Ah bugger knows (cares)
Simon: Hello sir, despite all I have said, Liverpool was better than the last time. Cheers again, and at some point I will join you in HL2: Deathmatch and whoop yo ass!
Laura: You broke my heart: oh woe is me!

Lesley J: Yes you in London! I haven’t heard from you in a while, what’s happening? email me when you get chance.

So there you have it. Tonight’s blog entry. Another long one (oo err) after a fair while. It has cleared the air, probably made people angry again as almost every blog entry seems to do and i haven’t even mentioned or said hello to the two people who i pissed off a while back. Hmm, may do that next time 🙂

Space adventurer away!!

Well tis that time once again where I update you all on events of the past, This entry will be brief as I am knackered being honest. Work has gotten a lot busier, even had training this week! Dear god what’s the world coming too?

Thursday Night was spent out at college and some quality time with the lady friend, Friday was the Fujitsu Experience Day, and boy oh boy was it an experience! (Cue American Canned Laughter), the nightime was spent out in shrewsbury with Steve, Matt, Kristi and Natalie. There were ladies doing lapdances at Liquid, of which I suffered terribly watching the whole thing, when i couldn’t the site of it any more, I took pictures 🙂

Saturday was spent sleeping, wandering around shrewsbury with Matt, and had an indian (not literaly, that would be crazy!!) out with Aunty Bett and Mumsy. Sunday was spent being the lord of leisure that I am, and all that is left to say is that an awful lot happened last week, but I will write about that at a later time. Every update i do seems to be a bloody essay, admittly award-winning drama with the occasional f**k thrown in, and I am keeping it low this episode. I must admit, Time has escaped me recently far too much, even to the point of having a mere 3 hours sleep some nights. Between you and me though, if only ye knew, it is worth all the suffering 🙂
