Sorry I haven’t been on writing for this blog of mine, the last few days have been eventful and sorrowful at the same time. This is the last day of being 24, so in essence this is the last post of the year that was, when I was like Jack Bauer, except without the clock ticking, no real terrorists either trying to take over Oswestry or the world. Still it was a bit of fun posting with that in the title, I have no idea how many times I did but it was worth it.
Today was a day being a lord of play, playing WOW, and in a moment will be off for the radio once again. Thursday, Friday and Saturday brought around so many things that is worthy of note, but alas dear people it will be left for another time. This isn’t on purpose to draw people in etc, it’s going to be that way. It’s been a complete mixed bag.
I guess that this is it. The last post of being 24. Not a huge one to say the least is it? And for the first time in quite a while I really feel like not writing anything! Tis strange really. Normally I can’t wait to write down about all the bits and bobs what’s been going on, but here I am, writing on my keyboard and well I really don’t want to. Rather just waffle about not writing waffle! What a strange man I am.
Whatever you lot are doing over this weekend, whether it be good bad or ugly, take it easy campers and well, there will always be brighter days.
As you can see below in the other posts, the videos from V are at least up and running, this is using the website to stream them instead of MySpace, so at least we have better functionality now.
There will be other additions as time goes on, but it’s not very good just post flash videos in posts, so at some point it will be reorganised to different pages. Ah the list of things to do grows ever larger.
The weekend brings all sorts of stuff going on, as does tomorrow as it goes, but I will explain all later. It is late, and I am tired. Good night campers, and I hope all is well with you in the world. If not, why not?!?! 🙂

Oh yes, after the weekend, I bet at least someone was wondering where the updates went. Well it sort of all went in the sh**er after I spent all night at work on the permissions issue, only to find it was all for nothing on the Monday.
Part of Monday was spent trying to sort it out, and again waste of time, so today was spent manually applying permissions to folders, which if you have a lot of them it takes far too long! So in actual fact it has only been tonight that I have had the opportunity to do anything on the blog. The weekend as it goes was wasted on sleep, and being lordly as usual. No energy you see, and well as it goes, I am a wee bit ill still but never mind eh?
And in actual fact the evening has been spent on flash trying to remember how to do motion tweens and trying to do a button for emails only to fail badly and just use standard text. the movie for a first go is not hugely bad, but it needs a lot of optimisation and a preloader adding.
This is just the intro, I haven’t even got to the site yet, which for the start is going to be static. This is not only my site good people but someone else’s as well whose main function will be as a gallery.
I finally have after much messing about have converted Videos from V to flash and will be adding them tomorrow via this website. Stay tuned for that, and as it stands the weekend is going to be too busy! Lots to do and no time to it, because as it stands, it is less than a week before the year of 24 is over, and therefore I go back to normal blog titles.
Shame that, it was alright being 24, granted there were terrorist plots I foiled or lives saved, but hey we can’t win them all can we?

As promised campers, I am back with a ever so brief update. I say brief, because believe it or not it is 21:34 on the Friday evening and yes it is another time that I find myself at work, staying late to repair permission issues on a server containing naughty things.
Well it’s not all bad, as once again I am able to catch up with some old TV from yester-year on the old laptop while the take ownership task i set in motion on 33GB of data was set off.
Today’s show from the BBC archives is This Morning with Richard not Judy, it was a show by Lee and Herring on Sunday afternoons BBC2. Series one was alright, but series two was where it was at. One of the best comedy programmes going, and the extra final scene to films was superb.
If you can find any sources on t’internet, get hold of them. You would be enthralled by the documentary classic “When things get knocked over, spilled or fall out of cupboards”.
Now the things afoot at work was an interview for a promotion. Oh yes, going from Minion to Semi-Minion with power over minions was the aim. All I had to do was present evidence to say that I had done something more than reading magazines of dubious semi-naked ladies of the evening and cheap tv shows, utilising the power of my yo-yo, and solving the riddle of time to save the world.
I spent a couple of nights putting all the material together, presented it in a nice binder, wore a tie and everything. And today campers, it happened. I am now officially a semi-minion with power over normal minions!!
Yes I have been promoted, and I will receive official confirmation in October by post, now if theory this means that I am due a pay rise, though how much remains to be seen. As it stands i am on around 60% of the average wage for this new grade. Yep, if I actually gave the real figures, it would raise eyebrows. It will be interesting to see what happens.
Have been spending a wee amount of time on the FaceBook nonsense, seeing what there is, got bored and then proceeded to make sure people knew my new title, the Lord of Leisure. The space adventurer is having a rest dammit!
Thursday, went out for dinner with Natalie, who was sad and and happy at a few things going on, it was a nice evening, and quite interesting to find out about the 4 groups of people that exist, and how some groups can get on fine with others and how some groups of people want to end up killing another. See I can be educated in deep s**t too!
That’s it really, there is nothing more I can say, at work as the copying work goes on. It is taking a long time to complete so as I watch on and hope that all works out, I bid you all good night, and hopefully I will be posting stuff from V tomorrow.
