Exodus from the Metro…. PC Version Impressions / Let’s Play

Febuary 15th was a damn busy day for games releases, so basically the choice had to be made as to what I was going to pick up and play for your dining and dancing pleasure.

So here we are with Metro Exodus on PC, which had shall we say, a bit of an issue in recent times swapping between stores causing all untold meh for customers. But is the latest in the series set in a post apocalyptic Russia, where you battle aganist weird mutants, dark ones and people posting on social media still up there in terms of kicking bottom?

The first two games were very well recieved, so let’s see what the opening two hours or so brings us in terms of impressions and take it from there….

Of course, be advised, there will be spoilers of course within a single player game.

Hearthstone Happy Hour: The Love of Leisure Edition @ Loading Shepherds Bush

It was Valentine’s Day 2019 and where else better to spend the time than livestreaming a child’s card game from a real life gaming bar? Yep, seriously I abuse the poor laptop setup to stream from the Loading Bar in Shepherds Bush while life carries on…..

Exactly, you couldn’t possibly think of anything else better to do could you?

Well, what turned out to happen was truly one of those “you had to be there” moments as the stream basically carried on with Hearthstone on in the background but what was really going on was having a lovely chat with people behind the bar, stupid questions being asked and answered and finally some judgement on a tiny piece of art. Be also wary of random women asking for a place to stay on OKCupid, and attempting to start an international incident too.

See, what could possibly go wrong?

Watch on for one of the most truly weird and half-assed livestreams you will ever see. Worst part is…. may do it more often too…. ENJOY!

This livestream may cause…. some Division… (The Division 2 Closed Beta Impressions)

Oh you’re not going to like this last minute livestream if you’re a fan of Ubisoft’s The Division. Nope, in fact you may as well save yourself the time and downvote this on YouTube right now.

Basically Ubisoft was after people to try and play their latest version of the Division 2 in closed beta the past weekend and this basically was two fold a way of load testing the service as well as to give us potential customers a glimpse as to what we would be expecting in return for some hard earned cash.

The issue was….. I was slightly burned from the Division and wasn’t on board to start with…. what then happened, was not partucilaly clever. But then again, anything involving me would not be that clever.

I pretty much give up any pretense that I would be impartial here and tell you to go watch it. It’s as simple as that.

Alita Battle Angel – The Aftermath

Only a week and a bit after watching Alita Battle Angel at the cinema at a special IMAX 3D screening, I finally got to putting live the Aftermath of what I think about the new epic adventure from 20th Century Fox.

Taking from the first 4 books of the Manga series, we know that potentially American remakes of Japanese material may be suspect, but can they pull it off here? Or are we just going to be forever scared of anything with eyes as big as Alita’s? Seriously, they are creepy as eff.

Hearthstone Happy Hour: The Next Generation

Finally in 2019, we have a couple of hours of proper Hearthstone Happy Houring back on Twitch and YouTube, and in this we gave shifting a good go as the week’s Tavern Brawl involved us praying to RNGesus while waiting for Shifter Zerus to turn into something good for us to play.

We also played more Discard Warlock as damn if that wasn’t a good deck to play on ladder. Enjoy campers!

A Resident Evil Poo…. Err Two livestream

Dear god campers, you know how much I hate the scary things in life! Films, Games, Going to Tesco’s after 7pm, there’s so many things in life which could cause a fit.

So why oh why, did I actually settle down to play to Resident Evil 2, a 2019 remake of a survival horror game that I never played growing up and thus never had the hype that everyone else did?

Well, given that I really enjoyed / cried over the demos at the local gaming bar, I felt compelled to panic for your dining and dancing pleasure on a livestream back during the end of January 2019.

Mary Poppins Returns… The Aftermath

I’m Mary Poppins Ya’ll.

Ok, that’s a complete lie but what isn’t a lie is the fact that I’m still playing catch up with films that were released in 2018 here in January 2019. What better film to come next than another huge big budget blockbuster designed to get us to spit spot and all that bollocks; Mary Poppins Returns.

Is it a return to form for a whole new generation or can they all spit-spot off? Only one way to find out for sure so let’s be quick about it, sing a song and then pretend it didn’t happen.

Also I make the argument that Mary Poppins is actually a horror film chracter…. And that everyone dies when Angela Lansbury turns up in anything. Yeah…. I do.

Aquaman….The Aftermath

Finally it’s time for another Aftermath video, the first proper one of 2019…. and it’s about a film from 2018!

I really didn’t get out to see much at the end of last year and so at this time it’s catch up time. This time, it’s the turn of Aquaman (the greatest hero of them all) played by Jason Momoa to get his own film without Superman or Batman ruining his style.

Given all the meh around the current form of DC films, will this continue the trend of “Why did they do these films the wrong way round?” and will Aquaman conquer the cinematic ocean or go down to rest beside Leo Dicaprio from Titanic at the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again?

A Resident Evil One Sh*t…err Shot

The first true Gaming Car Crash of the new year and it’s a one shit, err shot demo of Resident Evil 2, the new remake of the zombie horror filled fun from Capcom.

We had 30 minutes to try the demo out finally on PC properly to see what type of experience we might have when it comes to the full release on 25th January.

I tend also to poop my pants when it comes to horror in any form so if you want to see if I make my blue jeans turn brown during this demo, then watch on!
