Well good people of the town / city / barnyard, it’s been a little while since I’ve sat down at the keyboard to write anything more constructive than blurb for the next video game post with YouTube video, so here’s just a little post to update you all on where I’ve been hiding and what I hopefully will be able to provide over the coming weeks;
The month of May due to various adventures ended being predominantly a myriad of YouTube videos, mainly about that digital crack cocaine, Hearthstone, with a couple of others mixed in for good measure. Of course, one must be a social butterfly and not a hermit, growling at passersby from under a bridge, and thus time was spent away from the evil machines a lot more. Continue reading →
Ladies and Gentleman, as it’s a slightly sunny bank holiday here in the UK and you’re all sat at home lamenting that latest purchase from Argos that you will never use but you bought anyway because it was on sale…..welcome back yet for more card playing nonsense!
For this sadly final edition of the adventure, it will be the fifth wing of Blackrock Mountain we face, with four more fearsome enemies and cards to gain, and tears to shed at each loss. The forth wing had an almost unstoppable foe…..again, seriously, it seems to be the never ending story that we take care of a couple of naughty scallywags and then we get stopped by some nasty little blighter for 6 dasy while we figure out what cards to chuck at them.
So what fresh hell and drawn out pain are we in for now? Dragon dude Lord Victor Nefarius will be making a return in an effort to ensure that the mountain stays his forever more, and possibly get some work done on those nasty dragon teeth of his. Seriously they are worse than mine. But will he succeed in stopping us achieving victory or will he make more bad jokes and melt away, oh what a world, what a world….
So for the final time, I invite you to join me for another delightful afternoon’s playing of the hearthstone adventure, with tea* and merriment via the YouTube video below;
* Terms and conditions apply, see pack for details, tea doesn’t last long these days, need big flask….
Ladies and Gentleman, welcome back for more card playing nonsense!
For this edition of the adventure, it will be the fourth wing of Blackrock Mountain we face, with yet again more wings opening up with more new enemies and cards to gain, and tears to shed at each loss. The third wing had an almost unstoppable foe in the guise of Rend Blackhand, so much so, I suspect it was only pure luck in the end with the lack of taunts that allowed victory to be achieved.
So what fresh hell and drawn out pain are we in for now? After all, the dragon dude Lord Victor Nefarius is certainly not happy with our escapades within the mountain and what is certain is that it’s only a matter of time before we face this fearsome opponent, but will it be this time? Or will it be just more meh meh while we drink our tea or then lose against someone else over and over again?
So once again, I invite you to join me for another delightful afternoon’s playing of the forth wing, with tea* and merriment via the YouTube video below;

Do you long to hang with various individuals on the west side? Well dear campers and street gang members, that is what you have right now as after 43572384 years of waiting, we finally have our grubby hands on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V! Though granted, it’s now pretty much after everyone else has played it to death.
This time of course, you’re not playing just one naughty fellow on the streets of a city, now it’s three happy go lucky scamps as they lie, cheat and probably kill their way to whatever it is that people find dope.
I have no idea of what I’m saying…..
So perhaps moving away from writing complete b******ks for the moment, it’s not going to be overly bad to be saying that during the video, I will play through some of the story component and doing some online stuff afterwards to see how well the game does.
After all, given the length of time since the game’s initial release on old-gen consoles, it won’t be too bad on the spoilers. But be warned this will go through some of the opening story area so if you don’t want to see some of the stuff that happens, best avoid this till you have had a chance to sample it all yourself.
Regardless of spoilers of course, does this version of GTA 5 give you the best version of hanging with various homies in the cribs and stuff? Or will you relive the myriad of issues that plagued GTA 4 on its PC release?
Find out in the below YouTube video once more;

In a fight for survival there are no rules, except for the rule that there are no rules. Welcome mortals to the Kar Krash, so get over here and enjoy some rootin’ tootin’ button mashing!
Yes Mortal Kombat X is next on the roster for your dining and dancing pleasure, though in traditional Gaming Car Crash fashion, things don’t go exactly according to plan with playing the game on the PC. In fact the video you are about to see, was the second attempt at filming it after the first attempt ended at best with a stuttery finish so bad, you would be forgiven for thinking you were having a stroke.
You may of course seen along (with everyone else on release day) that there was a bit of a major issue come the day of release where you basically downloaded 3GB, and then you got treated to the menu system and nothing else.
This was due to the fact that Steam had experimented with a streaming installation type, which point blank didn’t work on arrival, which of course lead to various comments by everyone stating that Mortal Kombat X was the best menu simulator ever to exist.
Even now, in order to fully install the game, you will need to download the three gigabytes install first, then select every install DLC file present to arrive at the real full install, something it has to be said is not fun at all.
Various patches since have arrived, and in the meantime things have gotten better in the week since the release with most of the content now available to all, along with an additional 10000 “koins” to spend within a feature known as the crypt which provides various unlocks for the game itself, so is this something to sink your teeth and anything else into?
Certainly it’s a stunning looking game but does it play well technically, as all fighting games actually require the system not to stutter at all to maintain any form of playable form. Are there still problems waiting to be uncovered, beyond the fact that the Lord of Leisure is incapable of playing fighting games with any level of skill?

Yet again, it’s been a while, a week in fact since you’ve had any terrible game playing and who are we to disappoint you with more…err… disapointment at that wonderfully annoying card game know as Heathstone.
This time, it will be the third wing of Blackrock Mountain we face, as the new Hearthstone adventure continues to rear its ugly head with each wing opening up with more new enemies and cards to gain, and tears to shed at each loss. We defeated Raggynose the Firestarter last time, so how can we possibly still be fighting on through the mountain? That dragon dude does seem to get rather annoyed that we persist, perhaps there is more to playing this than meets the eye……
So join us for a delightful afternoon’s playing of the third wing, with tea* and merriment via the YouTube video below;

It’s been a long time, getting from there to here, it’s been a long time, but my time is finally near….wait a minute….those are the lyrics to Star Trek: Enterprise! Never mind, you’ve been missing me for quite a while and let’s see if we can fail once again at Blizzard’s card game of misery and money making; Hearthstone.
This time, it will be Blackrock Mountain we face, as the new Hearthstone adventure rears its ugly head onto the scene with more new enemies and cards to gain. The first couple of wings fighting characters from the World of Warcraft raid which this adventure is based on, will be open by the time I finally touch back down in the UK and THERE BE DRAGONS TO FIGHT!
So if you haven’t had enough of the arena runs where we see failure after failure* with drink problems arising, and you want to see what the fuss is about before you part with the best part of £20, then watch the YouTube video below;
* Terms and conditions apply, see pack for details….
Oh man, that last arena run…..so painful….Where’s daddy’s happy juice? That can take the pain away, make me feel good, no wait that will get us into Monster’s Ball territory.
Well, with the Lord of Leisure still away at the time of writing in locations unknown with people unknown drinking battery acid knowing him, Ooh Sometimes once again presents in full HD without the aid of a safety net, the second of 2 pre-recorded parts of Hearthstone, the wonderfully ridiculous life and money absorbing card game from Blizzard.
Once again, the cards will be entirely at random. We have no idea of who or what we will face. Even more, it’s clear we also don’t know what we’re doing and the bottle of wine is running low. It’s still all to play for in the Arena…..
Nah it isn’t, you know there will be a sh*t ton more losses.
So once again, prepare the coin, plan out your not very deadly moves* and find that those b******ds will always have the right bloody card to defeat you….right now!;
* Terms and conditions apply, see pack for details, sometimes you may play a card which works, this is false hope.
I could tell that you were suffering from bad gameplay withdrawal and due to the fact that I’m away in another continent at the moment, away from the comforts of Dairy Milk chocolate and super noodles, if we didn’t do something soon, entire towns would wither and die.
To ensure that no-one is forced to pay the high human cost of this tragic turn of events, we present the first of 2 pre-recorded parts in full HD without the hindrance of worrying about the upload speed.
In these videos of crisp graphic niceness, we once again attempt to be not awful at Hearthstone, the card game from Blizzard, which is of course becoming a form of digital crack cocaine for many people due to the last video about the game which appeared on this digital monument to sadness.
This time of course, the cards will be entirely at random, and we have no idea of who or what we will face. It’s all to play for, in the Arena…..
So grab your mouse, plan out your deadly moves* and nerd-rage against the machine….right now!;
* Terms and conditions apply, see pack for details, other players will have always spent more money than you ever could do to have better decks. So you can’t win. B*******ds!
Well last time we ventured into the murky world of the forthcoming UK General Election, the final remark was as follows; For now, all I know is an election is coming (like Winter) and it’s going to be important and depressing at the same time. And finally after the first TV / internet session with the two main candidates of David Cameron and Ed Miliband, you might actually find it really is fitting in with that theme.
The first of four sessions with those fighting for power, 5 years in a lovely house called Number 10 which has a sort of functional kitchen and the expense accounts that go with everything else took place last Thursday, where the collaboration between Sky News, Channel 4 and indeed the all powerful YouTube came to pass.
Here though, we wouldn’t see the two potential leaders fight it out with each other but with someone thought long gone from making people cry; PAXMAN, the greatest super jorno-hero of them all. So what did we learn, and was there a glimmer of hope that we weren’t going to just have to ignore the people in power again for 5 years?
Well, only when they didn’t take something else away from us of course…. Continue reading →
