Another week, another Hearthstone Happy Hour! It’s even better this time round as it’s time for more new Single Player content which makes this old fart very happy indeed.
The Dalaran Heist was released to everyone this week, with Chapters 1 and 2 being available for all now with the other three chapters coming over the next three weeks. With different bosses every time, Bartender Bob helping us with drinks and throwing out bad minions and random silliness every game in the form of treasures to alter how a game will go, what more could you possibly need?
Well, a couple of games with this week’s Tavern Brawl wouldn’t go amiss as well. Granted it’s Cloneball but with lots of legendary minions added since last time, it surely was not going to be the same this time. Enjoy!

Considering how long it’s been since I last wrote anything exclusively for the blog site, I decided to take a timeout from sleeping in order to briefly write a few things that have been going on within the realm of my tiny mind. I say write as it’s been a long time since I last took to writing here in quite a while. To be perfectly honest there are times when sitting down at the keyboard and staring at the screen has been rather daunting and given how much time I spend instead of Twitter and various video platforms instead, it pretty much went by the wayside.
It’s a shame really as the act of writing crude and diabolical rantings is quite a bit of good fun. In many ways, they were always way more structured than the filth I can spout when just talking on an Aftermath video after just coming back from the cinema. The mini meh was the way of truly digesting what I saw and perhaps allowing for my thoughts to mellow a bit more before committing back to any form of media what I thought about something which people poured their time and efforts into.
The last time the Gaming Car Crash had proper reviews sadly was back in 2016.
It’s also been quite a long time since I did also anything scripted video-wise in any case and it’s down to two very simple reasons; Time and money.
It’s always about time and money.
To start on the time aspect, the time it takes to sit down and mess around on live-streams doing a play-through of a game in some respects take much less time and effort than to look at something as a critic, write things down, edit as needed, perform as needed and add other bits to everything that arrives at something even resembling something competently put together.
It can be daunting to start anything too; you really have to be in the mood and after a long day at work or pretending to care about what other people are doing? Yeah you really do have to make the effort. Once you’ve begun it gets easier to then arrive at a conclusion to the piece of work. There are always stretches of time where you really don’t want to do anything and it’s incredibly hard to get your mojo back.
There’s also saturation to consider in this little corner of the mass market to consider. Why you ask?
There are so many people in the world doing the exact same things; A lot of whom, are already doing this all as a full on business. So even doing this all as a hobby at times seems all completely pointless. After all how could you ever measure up to those who do this all the time and can pump out much better content at an accelerated rate? Even perhaps still have delusions over having any form of social life and downtime? It just isn’t possible. It never was possible. For any fools out there who tend to produce “inspirational” videos and books about how you can do it all and still only work 12 minutes a year while skiing down the Amazon wearing a jetpack, I say this; You are all liers! J’accuse!

So then, what does it all come down to? If it’s never going to be all the monies in the bank account? Simple… enjoyment. I like messing around in Photoshop making crap mock-ups. It’s cool having the knowledge that you managed perhaps to make someone smile or laugh at your terrible shenanigans. That maybe you just brightened up someone’s day with a witty sentence or bad joke in whatever form it took. Even perhaps to show that you did something which may leave the tiniest of marks on the world. So while maybe there is not a lot to show, I can say, at least I gave it a go.
So while it may not happen all too often, it will be always be good to create content for your dining and dancing pleasure. To that end, I’m pleased to say that the Mini Mehs will be returning! Starting with John Wick 3 and Detective Pikachu, along with audio recordings for YouTube for anyone who doesn’t want to read, along with the occasional meme put in for good measure!
It does mean that the Aftermaths won’t happen that often now but considering there were times it was hard to even talk properly (like after Avengers: Endgame), perhaps it will be for the best! So stay tuned and to everyone who ever found anything I did and enjoyed it, I can only thank you and I hope you come back again in the future for more utter rubbish!
This week was a damn busy week in the world of game releases, and there’s only so much time you have between work and sleeping. Given that at the time of recording this, I felt like blowing off some heads and some steam, why not return to the good old days of 2012 when we had Sniper Elite V2 land on our doorsteps?
Only this time, it’s the 2019 remastered release of Sniper Elite V2, brought up to date and to more new shiny platforms to allow us all to enjoy the X-Ray camera showing how we managed to despatch some poor bastard called Derek who was only doing his job…. Tough life eh?

Raging against the machine in Rage 2 with weird and wonderful superpowers and guns? Oh go on then! Tuesday 14th May saw the release of Rage 2 upon the world, a sequel that we didn’t even know we wanted.
With fantastic over the top advertising, over the top insanity promised in a world filled with mutants and rangers with superpowers, would the opening hours of Rage 2 on PC live up to the advertising? Best you watch on and see for yourself what happened that fateful night…..
WARNING: Features gushing over having the BFG 9000 from Doom and also a number of game crashes….. Your own experience will vary! 🙂

Good lord campers, another livestream involving my favourite children’s card game and on a weekend? Well why not? This week’s Tavern Brawl was a fantastic prelude to the release of new single player content coming to Hearthstone (out now by the time you see this video go live) and we got to play as henchmen trying to curry favour with the villians of the new expansion.

A much shorter Aftermath video for yourselves this morning campers as I am very much tired and trying to make sense is hard after only three hours sleep and feeling like I’ve been out on the booze! This aftermath video is about Avengers: Endgame which is finally on general release worldwide and the question is…. is it any good?
We know it’s going to make all the monies in the bank account for Disney and Marvel but will the hyper be justified?

I finally made a new video campers at break neck speed considering that it’s literally a matter of hours before I go watch Avengers: Endgame in the local cinematic emporium.
Which meant that I really needed to get a brief meh about Captain Marvel before I go and watch the epic epicness and explode in a sea of nerd gushing.
Or would I? After all, after watching Captain Marvel, not all was as good as I hoped. Coupled with Shazam arriving on the scene from DC as another origin story type film, it was also quite good to compare the two and see of the two, which was the one which entertained me the most.
Oh and of course, I will be back talking about Avengers: Endgame afterwards! See you later campers!

Another random livestream occured earlier this month and it was the day after the new Rise of Shadows Expansion released for Hearthstone, that lovely child’s card game I play way too much instead of chasing all the single ladies around the place!

Evening campers, and it’s been a while since I last did a livestream proper and sadly that still continues to be the case, but at the very least I did do another Hearthstone Happy Hour before the next hearthstone expansion was release and I did talk briefly about it.

It’s been a while since last I did a livestream and so on one sunny Sunday afternoon, I took to the sofa to play some of the new Devil May Cry game from Capcom on the PC.
Kind of pushed it all with running at 4K while streaming, it was kind of surprising how well it still held up overall. But would the game be just button mashing because I was rubbish at it (Spoiler: Yes)? Would the story go over my head? Would I want to dye my hair like Dante?
