At first, this Monster Hunter World livestream went rather well if wonky with the usual weirdness one expects to find with Japanese titles.

In fact it was rather like Metal Gear Solid where you were, if you were only playing games on PC like I was back in the day, thrown in at the deep end with a lot of things making no sense at all.

But after the fun and frolics of learning where we were and the fact we were basically in Jurassic Park was clear, the combat of a certain monster is the point where I actually broke and got jolly annoyed.

A fact I would later learn is on purpose as the combat is clunky by design and thus the only way you may be OK with it, is to play with things that have fast recovery times….. But I only learned that off livestream and in essence, I came away not wanting to play this ever again really……

Oh dear…… Still, it started out as a laugh, right?
