AWOL
Well good people of the town / city / barnyard, it’s been a little while since I’ve sat down at the keyboard to write anything more constructive than blurb for the next video game post with YouTube video, so here’s just a little post to update you all on where I’ve been hiding and what I hopefully will be able to provide over the coming weeks;
The month of May due to various adventures ended being predominantly a myriad of YouTube videos, mainly about that digital crack cocaine, Hearthstone, with a couple of others mixed in for good measure. Of course, one must be a social butterfly and not a hermit, growling at passersby from under a bridge, and thus time was spent away from the evil machines a lot more.
The recent content not be the most exciting thing in the world of course to just see video after video on games being played badly, so for a little while now, we will take a break to do some more writing instead about various important topics.
These will likely include some more thoughts on recent movies (Who hasn’t seen Avengers by now?), the meh that’s happening in life and possibly what new fluff I’ve found in my belly button on a given day. Oh see how the excitement is so powerful, you can sell it as a sports drink.
On the video front, I was in fact hoping to be bringing you an additional video this week on a brand new release, but due to various issues with Xsplit, the capture software normally used on the Gaming Car Crash, this won’t be possible till next week at the earliest. If you’re wondering what kind of horrible mess it was going to be about, here’s a clue;
The main issues around this has been that basically even for a video with a budget of about 12p and no actual skill it takes a while to get going and then you only know how well it’s gone when you review the footage.
What was recorded at the time, has ended up being a stuttery mess which was of no use at all, so one night’s effort was effectively fruitless and the next opportunity for that will be Sunday. It also appears I will have to use Fraps for recording as that is the only software which will record anything at all and that in itself presents problems. I may have time for another hearthstone video but that will depend on other matters.
So for now, I will sign off, and bid you adieu until next time! Cherrio campers!
