A look back on posts past…
It occurred to me as I lie here waiting in the manor that is the home to the famous Lord of Leisure, that half the time I write things on the blog, and I never follow them up. What happened to statements about things and have they now in fact changed?
Well for once I am going to update on things remarked on earlier.
ADSL and no unlimited naughty post
Well, on this post I had remarked on the fact that it was hard to find a service that had unlimited attached to it and was of a reasonable price, even the more expensive solutions had a cap to it. Well dear readers, I actually found a true unlimited service, with no real restrictions except for newsgroups, which I don’t use anyway and it was with the DSL provider I am with now!
£35 per month for the DSL Max Pro business solution from Nildram, which is more expensive than what I was paying before, but no cap, a static IP, and still 8MB download speed possible (more than likely 6.5MB transfer), with a higher upload speed to narrow ping times slightly, and to boot, the 500 free minutes to landlines every month it seems I’m onto a winner.
Well the phone was broke the last few days, so I haven’t been able to fully utilise the power of the new service, but soon the joy will be mine… 🙂
Site update and Email Response
This post was in regards to the updates on the website, but more importantly the fact that I had some emails about Mrs. Winehouse, and also the fact that she got herself together for the Glasgow performance.
Well of course, she has cancelled the tour to due to health reasons (that’s the official line, so we’ll say it here too) so hopefully now she’ll eat some food, stop taking the naughty things, and get better. Here’s rootin for ya, Amy!
This post, despite the rubbish name, was about Gyms and how they are really used, and how in reality we end up just losing a wee bit of the tummy. Well the sad fact is: I stopped going again, and started eating again. It’s the end of this particular cycle yet again, and more than likely it will go back to going again at some once the suit no longer fits. Oh yes, I have one suit and that’s it, and when the jacket no longer fits around me, that’s the time to go back.
This also links to the problem with everything post where I remark on this very cycle and once again it seems to have come true.
For those upset by Bioshock’s root kit.
This post I moaned about the fact that until Microsoft open up the DirectX API, then we won’t see games such as Guitar Hero on PC. Having done the review on said game, I stand corrected.
And that’s all the follow-ups on previous posts, stay tuned for all new rants and other materials after a word from someone’s sponsor…
