Some very sad news, a member of the band, Crashing Cario who have produced fantastic music, and have featured on my audio rants has died. Here is the post from the band on Myspace:

I am so sorry to announce that our keyboardist/great friend Dan Denton passed away this morning. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Dan exuded all that was great with the Detroit music scene, played countless shows with countless bands, and touched so many hearts with his inspirational musicianship.
More information will come, but if each of you could take a moment and say a prayer for Dan’s family, we would greatly appreciate it.

I and everyone else here wish the family all the best. It’s a great shame to lose a loved one, as another friend of mine recently did a few weeks ago, but I never wrote about that, becuase it’s a private thing and should be respected if asked to remain so.
